Sorry I haven't been posting,I've been so busy with school and tennis(I never told you but I joined tennis and it's really fun!) and just life in general. My birthday was on the 17th of September so that was nice. My schedule is very hectic but I'll try to start posting more consistently and come through with the fashion inspo!

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago but I really love it so ofc I have to do a post about it! I'm wearing some items from Shein which I ordered from a while ago and I'm so happy with my purchase. The Shein hype is real! Those scary stories of things not fitting are only true if you order the wrong size, so have a good understanding of your size and compare it to the size chart.

In other news,My Vans are furry and pink and I love them!!! Unfortunately they're probably sold out by now,I got them at the Nordstrom  Vans 50th Anniversary pop-up shop, and I'm pretty sure that the pop-up shop is closed. They're called the Vans Old Skool Faux Shearling And Canvas Sneaker.

Also, my shirt says 1996 on the front and Be Yourself No Matter What They Say! on the back.

// Puma x Rihanna Fenty Fur Slides Review //

Sorry I've been gone for awhile! I'm back and I'm better now,lol. School has started for me like a week or two ago so there will be more consistent outfit posts from here on out. In my last post I told you guys I'd do a review of the Puma x Rihanna Fur Slides,so here it is! This review is my personal opinion and you may have a different experience with the shoes. Above are some pictures of the shoes to give you an idea of what they look like, if you didn't already know. These shoes are really comfortable at first,but after awhile of walking in them,they kind of hurt my feet. I love the freedom and air they give my feet because they're so open. I think that they're really cute and stylish, they go with a lot of outfits. They have a really good weight, one person said that they're kind of cheap,but that's not my personal opinion. The shoes come in a black box and they have a dust bag that comes with them,pictured in the third image. The dust bag is really soft,it's made of velvet I believe. So the main question that you're probably asking is are they worth it? I think they are and if I had to repurchase them I would. The price is quite hefty,and if you really don't want to pay $80+, then buy one of the dupes,but I think it's worth it. I want to see if I can get the new grey color because it's really cute.

Yesterday I went to the movies with my friends and we just hung out and had a cool time. I changed into a lipstick in the last half of the day, and I tried to capture it in the fourth and fifth photos,but it kind of faded. The lipstick was Mac in the color Diva. That's like my go to lipstick, and it's lasted for like forever.

Guys, I can't believe my summer program is ending!It's been such a big part of my life for the past three years and I've gone through middle school and grown up in that program. I'm excited to be leaving and having more freedom with my summers, but I'm really,really going to miss it,so it's bittersweet for me. Our official last day is Aug.3rd,but the last day of academic classes is tomorrow. On Aug. 1st and 2nd we're testing and practicing for our end of the summer event where different classes and activities perform. It's so much fun each year. Aug. 3rd is the actual day of our event. I'm probably going to come back next summer as a aide for the program. 

Anyway, about my outfit,I really love the pops of color juxtaposed with the more muted,trendy pieces.I got a lot of compliments on this outfit and that made me super happy. (I don't need other people's validation to feel good in an outfit,it just feels nice to be appreciated/recognized.) Two people said they were getting Coachella vibes from my flower crown and I couldn't agree more.

Some Quick Life Updates: 

So I've been really preoccupied with my summer program,and just all the homework that comes with it.I still need to continue with my summer reading for high school. I have to read Fahrenheit 451 and this other history book about explorers. So far I think F. 451 is pretty interesting and I haven't started the other book. School starts Aug. 24th for me, so I really want to enjoy the summer as much as I can. This past weekend my summer program had a camping retreat for the upcoming ninth graders and it was sooo fun. We left on Friday and returned Saturday morning. I have a lot of great inside jokes and experiences/memories from it. I'm want to improve my behavior/attitude because my family perceives me as selfish/disrespectful and that doesn't align with how I want people to see me/ how I see myself. I really do want to have self growth and self improvement this summer because that's so important to me. Thoses were just some all-over-the-place things I wanted to get off of my chest.

I ordered a few things online from H&M,Boohoo.com,and Colorpop a few weeks ago,and I just got them last Thursday. I was really excited for the Colorpop package because I have heard so many good things about the company but my personal experience with the liquid lipsticks wasn't good. I don't know if I got a bad batch or not,but when I was wearing Guess I constantly had to reapply and check my lips because it crumbled A LOT. When I checked to see if it transferred,sometimes it transferred,but most times flecks of pigment would come off. I can do a post on the things I ordered sometime this week.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. At the beginning of the summer, I promised myself that I'd go hardcore in terms of my fashion during the summer,but my summer program is from 8am-4pm,Mondays-Fridays,and I have to wake up early in the mornings for it. I'm really,really lazy in the mornings, so I usually end up wearing really,really casual outfits that aren't super special or blog worthy.I also currently photograph my outfits after I get home, and I'm usually super tired,so I end up taking off my clothes first thing instead of taking photos. I'll try to upload more for the rest of July. I have some cool stuff to post, like a fun Saturday night outfit that I wore to a party a few weeks back, a post on my Rhianna x Puma Fenty fur sandals,etc,.Anyway, today's outfit was pretty casual,but I'll try to spruce up my fashion more often because I usually find myself unhappy during the midday with bland outfit I'm wearing.Here's my OOTD for today(7/20/2016):

Today my summer program had College and Career Day,and my class(upcoming ninth graders)went to UC Berkeley. It was really fun and I got a lot of exercise. There was a scavenger hunt that me and my group went ham on,but we placed 3rd,lol. On a totally unrelated note, I'm thinking of starting a Youtube channel,I just need to upgrade my camera situation first. I think I might ask for a decent,inexpensive camera for my birthday.

Also, I feel like almost every post I've done recently begins with me apologizing for not posting frequently. I'm definitely going to stop doing that from now on because my schedule is hectic rn and I created this blog to freely express myself,and whenever I push myself to post more than feels natural to me,I just start feeling bad. That's just not what this blog is about.
