Guys,I'm so anxious/nervous and excited! I graduate next Thursday from middle school and I'm going to miss all of my friends and middle school in general because it's been really stressful and weird and funny and fun for me!!! The environment is sometimes shitty but usually pretty cool,and oh shizz,I'm REALLYY going to miss middle school. So I'm going to a private high school that no one else from my school is going to and that's exciting but also its a huge culture change for me! Anyway, today I went on my school's Spirit Trip at this really cute ranch,and I went last year,so it was kind of sad knowing that this would be my last time there,but it was really fun and super lit! I had a great time with my friends and we spent A LOT of time swimming and played in a bouncy house so that was cool.I had a really great time today and there  lot of nostalgia,but I'm really excited for what the future holds!Also, middle school isn't over yet and I'm going to enjoy every last second of it.;P

Today's outfit was pretty simple but the mainstay of it was my accessories. It's just very visually pleasing to see a hair accessory with a neck accessory, I think it really compliments and evens out the face very nicely.That's why I chose to wear these really cat ears with my gold hoop earrings.That and they just look really cute,like I frickin' looked like a cat today! It was great!

Sorry for so many awkward pictures with me sticking my tongue out. That's low-key my go to pose...Anyway, I really love my new boyfriend jeans!! I've been looking for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans and I finally found them from H&M. I tried on a bunch but these were the last pair I tried on and I really like them! They were pretty expensive(39.99) but I think their worth it because they look really cute!

I know I said I'd try to wear multiple shoes each week but so far that isn't happening. lol. I really like Air Force Ones though,they go with pretty much any outfit.I went on a field trip today to UC Berkeley and it was really fun! Some of my best friends were on the trip so that was cool. This one guy was holding signs for Bernie Sanders and was giving out some Bernie merch so I got this free Bernie button.Yes!I think Bernie is the only candidate I can tolerate tbh. Trump is trash,and Clinton is a criminal,so I'm not super confident in the American political system. Ironically, one of the major focus points for candidates this season was reforming the system but for Clinton and Hillary,their success just highlights flaws in the system,if that makes any sense?Anyway,I got some beef from some of my classmates for wearing the septum clip and that was annoying but I don't really care. Surprisingly, I don't get comments like that super often but since I dress a little more wild than people at my school I get stuff like that occasionally.

My socks on Monday were super legit!!!!I got them off of Amazon for Christmas.They're paintings,one's by Henri Matisse,and the other is by Gustav Klimt. I was feeling myself for sure on Monday it was greeeaaattt.

On Wednesday I wore,

The necklace is layered,its a wish bone and a bar with some cheesy writing.I can't remember the exact writing but it had the word "love" in it.

I LOVED MY OUTFIT ON WEDNESDAY!! The blouse was so flowy and I was just really into the overall silhouette of my outfit,you know? I have this thing were I pick one pair of shoes and I like wear it for the whole week and I need to stop that and like diversify my shoe game for the whole week.

// Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival Fashion Review //

Hey guys,

It's been super long but I'm finally back. I'd make some excuse about being super busy,but that's not really true I've just been putting this post off because I've been lazzzyyy. Also,I'm sick this week which really sucks so yay! Finally, like fucking three or so weeks after the actual event, I will posting about the Met Gala and throwing in some stuff about the Cannes Film Festival because it happened pretty recently. On a slightly unrelated note, The Billboard Music Awards are happening right now and I'm not watching it because well,I don't really know? This year and 2015 I haven't really watched award shows and it sucks because they're pretty entertaining. Maybe I'll go watch it after writing this post.


Met Gala

The Met Gala is an event sponsored by the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The Costume Institute is basically the museum's fashion section. They have to fund raise all of their money so they take this event pretty seriously. It's one of fashion's biggest moments,and attended by celebritys,designers,and a bunch of other rad people. So the theme this year was ManusxMachina. This is the intersection of machine/futuristic/technology produced and inspired fashion and man-made,more traditionally viewed stuff. In terms of style, the huge trends this year were cut-outs and metallics. Obviously whenever there's a futuristic-themed event, a ton of people wear metallic stuff....anyway I did also appreciate when people took more creative approach to the whole futuristic theme. The outfits this year were also realllyyyy good this year,like I can only think of 1 or 2 outfits that I didn't like this year which was really good!!! Cannes Film Festival 

So I don't know much about this film festival,but its in France,and since its a film festival, films are shown and they win awards if their really good(usually) yay! I;m pretty sure that their are also multiple days for stars to go on the red carpet so several stars have worm multiple outfits throughout the course of this year's festival.The fashion here was pretty solid and I really like what I've seen so far. This is a pretty typical red carpet event I'd say and nothing was super extravagant but the looks were really beautiful.This is a pretty big international event so actors and actresses from countries all over the world attend the event. I'm only posting a smattering of photos for this event. Also, keep in mind I saw a lot of super beautiful dresses but I don't always know the names of the person wearing it so I usually don't post something with them.
